Mr. Michael Novak,project engineer, stated that the intent is to relocate the infiltration system (PSIS-1) in the northwest direction (left on the site plan) in an attempt to save the root system of the beech tree in the top right of the site plan. Mr. Novak also stated that the applicant will need to allocate more area for a sump pump on site. Questions and Comments from the Commission: — Can you provide detail on the French drain? — Would like to see spot grades added to the site plan to ensure all is constructed correctly. — What is the reason why there is no test pit in the immediate vicinity of the larger infiltration system (PSIS-2)? Responses from the Representative: — The test pits were conducted prior to the design of the infiltration systems and did not anticipate needing one. On a motion by Ms. Dohan and seconded by Ms. Samuels, the Commission voted 6-0 by roll call vote to continue the hearing to the October 12, 2021 meeting at the applicant's request.
