<br />Minutes of the Community Preservation Committee <br />Public Informational Hearing and Public Meeting <br />Thursday, December 17, 2015 <br /> <br /> <br />Town Office Building <br />1625 Massachusetts Ave <br />7:00 PM <br /> <br />Committee Members Present: Marilyn Fenollosa, Chair; Richard Wolk, Vice-Chair; Richard Canale, David <br />Horton, Jeanne Krieger, Leo McSweeney, Bob Pressman, Sandra Shaw. Absent: Norman Cohen <br /> <br />Administrative Assistant: Elizabeth Lane <br /> <br />Other Attendees: David Kanter, Vice-Chair, Capital Expenditures Committee <br /> <br />1)Public Informational Hearing on the CPC Needs Assessment Report- The informational hearing <br /> <br />was called to order at 7:01 PM. Several members of the public expressed confusion about the <br />purpose of the hearing. They expected the hearing to cover discussion of FY17 CPA project <br />applications. Ms. Fenollosa clarified the purpose of the hearing and read the posting that was <br />listed in the \[ĻǣźƓŭƷƚƓ aźƓǒƷĻƒğƓ for two consecutive weeks per the CPA statute. <br /> <br />At the request of the public and several members of the Committee, Ms. Fenollosa reviewed the <br />FY17 project list and provided a brief summary of each project. <br /> <br />Ms. Fenollosa closed the public hearing at 7:20 PM. No public comments regarding the Needs <br />Assessment Report were received. The Committee attended to the following matters as part of <br />their public meeting: <br /> <br />2)Approval of Minutes- Mr. Kanter offered two revisions to the minutes from the December 10, <br /> <br />2015 Community Preservation Committee meeting. After a motion duly made and seconded, <br />the Committee voted to approve the minutes as revised, 8-0. <br /> <br />3)Project Updates/Member Concerns- Ms. Fenollosa provided several updates on current FY17 <br /> <br />projects and Mr. McSweeney commended Ms. Fenollosa for successfully leading the Committee <br />through another round of project applications.
