Wood <br /> Alternate Member: William Kennedy <br /> Administrative Staff: Jennifer Gingras, Zoning Administrator and Sharon Coffey, <br /> Administrative Clerk <br /> Address: 363 Massachusetts Avenue <br /> The petitioner is requesting a SPECIAL PERMIT in accordance with the Zoning By-Law <br /> (Chapter 135 of the Code of Lexington) section(s) 135-9.4 and 135-3.4 (Table 1 Permitted Uses <br /> and Development Standards) to allow motor vehicle sales in the CRS zoning district. <br /> The petitioner submitted the following information with the application: Nature and Justification, <br /> photographs and a parking analysis. <br /> Prior to the meeting, the petitions and supporting data were reviewed by the Building <br /> Commissioner, Conservation Administrator, Town Engineer, Board of Selectmen, the Planning <br /> Director, the Historic District Commission Clerk, Historical Commission, Economic <br /> Development, and the Zoning Administrator. Comments were received from the Zoning <br /> Administrator, Engineering Department, Planning Department and the Building Commissioner. <br /> Presenter: Djimy Polynice on behalf of Deluxe Auto <br /> The Hearing was opened at: 7:00 PM. <br /> Mr. Polynice presented the petition. He stated the proposal is to allow the use of an auto <br /> dealership. <br /> A Board Member, Nyles N. Barnert, questioned how transactions will occur (They will first be <br /> contacted online and then meet at 363 Massachusetts Avenue to test drive the car). <br /> Mr. Barnert stated the application states the office will not be open to the public (Only open to <br /> customers). <br /> Mr. Barnert questioned hours of operation (9am to 5pm). <br /> Chair, Ralph D. Clifford, questioned what the three designated parking spots will be used for <br /> (They will be used for customers who come to test drive a car and his personal vehicle will be <br /> used for one of those spots). <br /> Mr. Clifford clarified that the inventory would not be held at 363 Massachusetts Avenue <br /> (Inventory will not be in Lexington. They are trying to get a parking area in Boston). <br /> There were no questions or comments from the audience. <br />
