Wood, Jeanne Krieger, Edward D. <br />McCarthy, Leo P. McSweeney and David G. Williams <br />Administrative Staff: Dianne Cornaro, Administrative Clerk and David George, Zoning <br />Administrator <br />Address: 15 Williams Road, Map 78, Lot 151 <br />The petitioner submitted the following information with the application: Nature and <br />justification; topographic plan; plot plan; elevations and photographs. <br />Prior to the meeting, the petitions and supporting data were reviewed by the Building <br />Commissioner, Conservation Administrator, Town Engineer, Board of Selectmen, the <br />Zoning Administrator, the Planning Director, Economic Development; the Historic <br />District Commission Clerk, Historical Commission and the Zoning Administrator. <br />Comments were received from the Zoning Administrator. <br />The petitioner is requesting a SPECIAL PERMIT in accordance with the Zoning By- <br />Law (Chapter 135 of the Code of Lexington) sections 135-8.4.2 and 135-9.4 to allow <br />expansion (deck) of a non-conforming structure <br />The Chairwoman opened the hearing at 7:58 pm by reading the legal notices and <br />described information received from the petitioner. <br />Landscape Architect, Sallie Hill, presented the petition for the owners of the property, <br />Yec and Pei Chen. <br />The applicant seeks to construct a 15 ft. by 15 ft. deck on the left side of the house. <br />The proposed deck will be located, at its nearest point, 17.4 ft. from the front yard lot <br />line. <br />The Chairwoman asked if the applicant had started the other work they had come <br />before the Board for about a year ago. (Yes, they have started.) <br />A Board member questioned if the existing sheds are staying. (Yes.) <br />Another Board member asked about a second floor on the structure. <br />There were no questions from the audience. <br />An abutter from 60 Williams Road only concern was people in the neighborhood who <br />have bought in the past, expanded on small lots and then found the children didn’t <br />have any place to play so they move. <br /> <br />
