BOA Meeting February 26, 2015 <br />11 <br />The Chairwoman asked if they had considered a one car garage or a tandem garage. (Would <br />project to far back into the play area of the yard.) <br />Hrkachs. She made <br />Barbara Buckmann of 9 Hillside Terrace sold the house to the <br />comments regarding the water issues with the lot. She felt that homeowners and <br />attorneys should be better prepared and have more questions answered before they <br />submit their applications. <br />The Chairwoman closed the hearing at 10:23 pm. <br />During discussions a Board member spoke of his reasons for not voting in favor of the <br />variance and voting in favor of the special permit. <br />On a motion by Leo P. McSweeney and seconded by Jeanne Krieger, the Board voted 2-3 <br />(with Martha C. Wood, Laura Hussong and Ralph D. Clifford in opposition) to approve a <br />VARIANCE from sections 135-9.2.2.2 & 135-4.4, Table 2: Schedule of Dimensional Controls <br />Variance isDENIED <br />to allow a side-yard setback of 10.2 ft. instead of the required 15 ft. The . <br />On a motion by Ralph D. Clifford and seconded by Laura Hussong the Board voted 5-0 to <br />grant a SPECIAL PERMIT from sections 135-8.4.2 and 135-9.4 to allow modification <br />(extension) of a non conforming structure. Ralph Clifford modified the motion to not have a <br />condition that the shed be removed. <br />The Architect requested a clarification of what the denial of the variance and the approval of <br />the special permit meant. <br />Submitted by: Dianne Cornaro, Administrative Clerk <br /> <br />
