Business meeting May 19, 2015 <br />Attending: Mona Roy, Robin Abrams, Ann Wolf, Jenn Yaar, Lisa O'Brien <br />9:40 am call to order <br />Minutes from April meeting approved. <br />Officer candidates <br />Co chair Robin Abrams, Ann Wolf <br />Secretary Jenn Yaar <br />Membership Lisa O'Brien <br />Treasurer Barbara White <br />Summer meeting June <br />Membership form sent out by LIPS administration <br />Need to continue to encourage membership <br />Liaisons for 2015 -2016 <br />Hastings: Jenn Yaar <br />Bridge: Anne Rollins <br />Fiske: Jill Tilem <br />Bowman: <br />Harrington: Michelle Motto Dardeno <br />LCP: Michelle Motto Dardeno <br />Diamond: Mona Roy <br />Clarke: Ann Wolf <br />Estabrook: <br />LHS: Carol Milllard <br />LIPS will put $1000 in budget for SEPAC Mass Pac membership and the basic <br />rights meeting which are the DSEA requirements. <br />End of year appreciation at school was discussed, numbers and budget is under <br />review. <br />New superintendent is coming in July. We should plan to have a coffee or invite <br />her to social in September for her to introduce her to the Special Needs <br />Community. <br />Transition coordinator started in April. Transition subcommittee needs more <br />members and help with leadership. <br />Ideas discussed on how to improve SEPAC involvement; reaching out to <br />guidance and preschool parents. Doing meet ups at coffee shops. <br />Meeting adjourned 11 am <br />
