<br />SEPAC meeting 2/24/15 <br />Attending Jennifer Yaar, Robin Abrams, Lisa O’Brian, Ann Wolf, Kathy <br />Georgopoulos <br />Call to order 9:40 am <br />Officers report <br />Treasurer update balance 2588.51 there will be spring appreciation spending <br />Robin is going to check on the bank charge <br />Meeting minutes from Jan meeting where approved. <br />Monthly meetings: next one March 24 Jessica Minahan on anxiety will be widely <br />advertised. <br />April 504 plans given by the Federation will be a morning meeting at Cary Library <br />May meeting on executive function, Jennifer will follow up with Mona about the <br />presenter. <br />June meeting will be to hold elections <br />The issue of whether to separate SEPAC and SEPTA is still pending. Jenn and <br />Robin will discuss with Ellen Sugita at the meeting in March. The SEPAC could <br />become a site council and the SEPTA will continue as a separate organization. <br />Website update by Robin Abrams: the wording for the website was sent by email <br />and please get back to Robin on any changes/suggestions to the website. Robin <br />gave the options for us to move the website to the Yahoo host. The website will <br />be in the beta form for the next month and we will give feedback. At the next <br />meeting we will vote on whether the website is ready to go live. At that time a <br />decision will be made as to how long we will continue to hyperlink from the old <br />site to the new site. <br />LHS ILP update: parents have been meeting with LHS staff on the progress of <br />planning the new program. Concerns have been expressed by parents that LPS <br />has not sufficiently planned for the program. This has been expressed to Ellen <br />Sugita. <br />Resource guide was sent by email, please populate with your providers. <br />Letter sent to Parents about the LPS accessing Mass Health to get funds for <br />children on IEP's. We will gather more information from SPED and business <br />office. <br />Budget issues were discussed. <br />ADJORNED at 11:04 <br />
