<br />Minutes of the Lexington Zoning Board of Appeals <br />Selectmen’s Meeting Room <br />June 27, 2013 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Board Members Present: Chairman – Carolyn C. Wilson, Jeanne K. Krieger, Leo P. <br />McSweeney, David G. Williams and Associate Member Ralph D. Clifford <br /> <br />Staff Present: Dianne Cornaro, Administrative Clerk and David George, Zoning <br />Administrator <br /> <br />Address: 36 Moon Hill Road, Map 8, Lot 26 <br /> <br />The petitioner submitted the following information with the application: nature and <br />justification of request; topographic plan; plot plan; garage plans; elevations; Ma <br />Cultural Resource Information; quit claim deed and a copy of the BOA decision dated <br />March 10, 1955 <br /> <br />Prior to the hearing, the petition and supporting data were reviewed by the Building <br />Commissioner, Conservation Administrator, Town Engineer, Board of Selectmen, the <br />Zoning Administrator, the Planning Director and the Historic Districts Commission <br />Clerk. Comments were received from the Building Commissioner and the Zoning <br />Administrator. <br /> <br />Architects Jessica Gann and Art Swartz of Black River Architects presented the <br />application for the owners of the property, Susan Greenhailgh explaining the proposed <br />new 2-car garage. <br /> <br />The petitioner is requesting a VARIANCE in accordance with the Zoning By-Law <br />(Chapter 135 of the Code of Lexington) section 135-4.4., Table 2, Schedule of <br />Dimensional Controls to allow a side yard setback of 5 ft. instead of the required 15 ft. <br /> <br />Mr. Swartz presented letters of support from Dr. Steve Varga-Golovcsenko of 38 Moon <br />Hill Road and Barbara Katzenberg and Peter Piela of 37 Moon Hill Road and a letter of <br />support from the neighborhood design group. <br /> <br />There were no questions from the audience <br /> <br />No one spoke in favor or in opposition to this petition. <br /> <br />The hearing was closed at 7:38 pm. <br /> <br />On a motion by Leo P. McSweeney and seconded by Jeanne K.
