BOA Meeting June 13, 2013 3 <br /> <br />Minutes of the Lexington Zoning Board of Appeals <br />Selectmen’s Meeting Room <br />June 13, 2013 <br /> <br /> <br />Board Members Present: Chairman – Carolyn C. Wilson, Jeanne K. Krieger, Leo P. <br />McSweeney, Martha C. Wood and Associate Member Richard A. Michelson <br /> <br />Staff Present: Dianne Cornaro, Administrative Clerk and David George, Zoning Administrator <br /> <br />Address: 82 Pleasant Street, Map 8, Lot 2 <br /> <br />The petitioner submitted the following information with the application: nature and justification <br />of request; topographic plan; plot plan: elevations; floor plans and a letter of support from the <br />residents of 94 Pleasant Street. <br /> <br />Prior to the hearing, the petition and supporting data were reviewed by the Building <br />Commissioner, Conservation Administrator, Town Engineer, Board of Selectmen, the Zoning <br />Administrator, the Planning Director and the Historic Districts Commission Clerk. Comments <br />were received from the Conservation Administrator and the Zoning Administrator. <br /> <br />The Chairman opened the hearing at 7:50 pm by reading the legal notice and described <br />information received from the petitioner. <br /> <br />The applicant is requesting a variance in accordance with the Zoning By-Law (Chapter 135 of <br />the Code of Lexington) section 135-4.1.1., Table 2, Schedule of Dimensional Controls to allow <br />a side yard setback of 14.07 ft. instead of the required 15 ft. <br /> <br />Albert Huang, owner of the property, presented the petition by describing the proposed 2.5 <br />story addition onto the garage. <br /> <br />A Board member asked what did the Coservation Administrator say about the addition. They <br />are meeting for a site visit on Saturday, June 15, 2013. <br /> <br />There were no questions from the audience. <br /> <br />Laura Carpenter of 94 Pleasant Street spoke in favor of the petition. <br /> <br />No one spoke in opposition to the petition. <br /> <br />The hearing was closed at 7:55 pm. <br /> <br />On a motion by Jeanne K. Krieger and seconded by Leo P.
