<br />Minutes of the Lexington Zoning Board of Appeals <br />Selectmen’s Meeting Room <br />May 23, 2013 <br /> <br /> <br />Board Members Present: Chairman – Carolyn C. Wilson, Jeanne K. Krieger, Leo P. <br />McSweeney, Martha C. Wood and Associate Member Richard A. Michelson <br /> <br />Staff Present: Dianne Cornaro, Administrative Clerk and David George, Zoning Administrator <br /> <br />Address: 31 Vinebrook Road, Map 48, Lot 60 and 61 <br /> <br />The petitioner submitted the following information with the application: nature and justification <br />of request; topographic plan; plot plan: photographs, greenhouse plans, deed filed August 18, <br />2011; letter of support from Christine and Kirk Minihane of 4 Sherburne Road and suncalc <br />(sun calculations) <br /> <br />Prior to the hearing, the petition and supporting data were reviewed by the Building <br />Commissioner, Conservation Administrator, Town Engineer, Board of Selectmen, the Zoning <br />Administrator, the Planning Director and the Historic Districts Commission Clerk. Comments <br />were received from the Conservation Administrator and the Zoning Administrator. <br /> <br />The Chairman opened the hearing at 7:31 pm by reading the legal notice and described <br />information received from the petitioner. <br /> <br />2 VARIANCES <br />The applicant is requesting in accordance with the Zoning By-Law (Chapter <br />135 of the Code of Lexington) section 135-35A, Table 2, Schedule of Dimensional Controls: <br />1) To allow a side yard setback of 11.08 ft. instead of the required 20 ft. <br />2) To allow a rear yard setback of 7.42 instead of the required 15 ft. <br /> <br />Steven Martin, owner of the property, presented the petition by describing the proposed <br />greenhouse. <br /> <br />Board members asked if the greenhouse would look exactly like the picture in the application <br />packet when it is up; (Yes) and if it was on a slab. (No, trench around perimeter.) <br /> <br />There were no questions from the audience. <br /> <br />No one spoke in favor or in opposition to the petition. <br /> <br />The hearing was closed at 7:36 pm. <br /> <br />On a motion by Leo P. McSweeney and seconded by Jeanne K.
