<br /> <br /> <br />Suzie prepared a letter specifying guidelines (including fee) for political candidates’ <br /> <br />participation in the parade and distributed it to the appropriate offices. Jim Shaw assisted <br />in this endeavor by delivering the letter to several candidates and political groups. <br />Application deadline is Friday, April 13. <br /> <br />Votes were taken on the following motions -- <br /> <br />th <br /> <br />To allow the 300 Committee members to hand out bookmarks to spectators, <br /> <br />with the understanding that they cannot delay the parade while doing so. <br /> <br />To allow late entry Coast Guard Auxiliary Color Guard to march at no fee. <br /> <br /> <br />To allow late entry LBYH intramural players to march with the old town trolley at <br /> <br />no fee. LBYH will be lined up with the Bruins’ families and will carry the banner. <br /> All motions passed unanimously and were accepted. <br /> <br />Memorial Day 2012 <br /> <br />Bedford resident, Alma Hart, will be guest speaker. <br /> <br /> <br />Clergy has been arranged. <br /> <br /> <br />We will ask the town’s new VSO (Veterans’ Service Officer), Ryan Lennon, to be chief <br /> <br />marshal. <br /> <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 8:25 pm <br />Respectfully submitted by Sandy Podgorski <br /> <br />
