She said the CPC would present the project to Town Meeting
at its original requested amount of $550,000, and that the Selectmen
would offer an amendment on the floor to reduce the appropriation. There
was a general discussion of the proposal with members agreeing that Mr.
Goddard, Director of Facilities, should be able to present the full
$550,000 proposal to Town Meeting prior to the amendment. Ms.
Fenollosa commented that the original design cost represented a very
comprehensive preservation plan, not an extravagant one.

b.)Visitor Center
- Ms. Manz reported that the Visitor Center project has
been withdrawn.

c.)White House Stabilization
- Ms. Manz also reported that the Board of
Selectmen had decided to keep the White House project in the capital
budget.
