Dates for next year's meetings <br />-Vote passed to approve minutes from last meeting <br />-Vote 6 teachers /staff members and 6 parents /community members to the Council for <br />2012/13- 2013/14 <br />-Topics to address in the upcoming year <br />-Communication Subcommittee to address issues of communication especially in <br />time of change with the renovations <br />-historically the communication issues had been address by establishing the <br />Bridge To Home newsletter <br />-School Improvement Plan (SIP) passed out and to be discussed in future <br />meeting and then readdressed throughout the school year <br />-new report card <br />-playground <br />-ELL is >10% of the students now, so ways to try to include those families in <br />communication, mulitcultural signs around the building <br />-school-wide surveys <br />-Bridge-To-Home will be monthly, no hard copies <br />-new website (all of LPS), does have drop -down option to translate <br />-?text updates to parents <br />-to do survey next year of what parents want; in the past a parent (Bruce ) <br />donated time to design surveys, Survey Monkey is translatable, PTA is willing to <br />help with translation <br />-traffic patterns for next year <br />-?more busses <br />-parking on both sides of road <br />
