3. New Business: <br />a. GIS Open Space Parcel Mapping — Emily Schadler described a j oint effort <br />underway between the Conservation and Planning Departments to develop GIS <br />data layers mapping key features of all town open space parcels. A list of <br />suggested types of data was distributed with the request to forward additional <br />suggestions to Emily in the Conservation office. <br />b. Lexington Hills — Michelle Ciccolo reported that the developer of Lexington Hills <br />on Walnut Street is requesting that more lots be released for development. The <br />Planning Board is searching its records for information regarding trail easements <br />agreed to by the developer along with development of a sidewalk on the opposite <br />side of Walnut Street down to Potter Pond across the Department of Conservation <br />and Recreation's Beaver Brook North property. Keith and Mike offered to contact <br />DCR personnel including Tom Walsh, District Manager and Dan Driscoll in the <br />central office as needed. (Action Item — Keith) <br />Estabrook School Construction — Michelle Ciccolo requested assistance <br />identifying walking routes to Estabrook School during construction. Keith offered <br />to prepare a summary of planned Steward trail improvements in the adjacent Paint <br />Mine area and forward to Michelle for review. (Action Item — Keith) <br />NEXT MEETING: November 18, 2011, 8:00am, Room G -15 Town Office Bldg <br />Meeting Adjourned 9:45am <br />Action Items: <br />Keith — forward copies of policy statement as noted above <br />- coordinate 300 celebration walks with Citizens for Lexington Conservation <br />- contact DCR personnel re Lexington Hills as requested by Planning Board <br />- draft trail improvement summary for Paint Mine area <br />Keith /Stew — prepare West Lexington Greenway summary for CPC <br />Mike - develop route marking system <br />Rick/Alex — develop draft map showing proposed recreational loops <br />Rick/Alex /Stew/Keith — visit Wellesley and gather information <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />Paul Knight, Secretary <br />
