ARTICLE 6 APPROPRIATE FOR SENIOR SERVICE PROGRAM <br /> To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for the purpose of <br /> conducting a Senior Service Program, to be spent under the direction of the Town Manager; to <br /> authorize the Board of Selectmen to establish and amend rules and regulations for the conduct of <br /> the program, determine whether the money shall be provided by the tax levy, by transfer from <br /> available funds or by any combination of these methods; or act in any other manner in relation <br /> thereto. <br /> (Inserted by the Board of Selectmen) <br /> FUNDS REQUESTED: $45,000 <br /> DESCRIPTION: In FY2007, the Town established its own Senior Tax Work-Off Program <br /> that provides more flexibility than the State program in assisting low-income seniors and <br /> disabled residents in reducing their property tax bills. This article requests funds to continue <br /> the program. <br /> ARTICLE 7 ESTABLISH AND CONTINUE <br /> DEPARTMENTAL REVOLVING FUNDS <br /> To see if the Town will vote, pursuant to Chapter 44, Section 53E1/2, of the Massachusetts <br /> General Laws, to re-authorize the use of existing revolving fund accounts in FY2014, and to <br /> establish new revolving fund accounts, for the following programs and purposes, to determine <br /> whether such revolving fund accounts shall be credited with the following departmental receipts, <br /> to determine whether the following boards, departments or officers shall be authorized to expend <br /> amounts from such revolving fund accounts and to determine whether the maximum amounts <br /> that may be expended from such revolving fund accounts in FY2014 shall be the following <br /> amounts or any other amounts; or act in any other manner in relation thereto. <br /> (Inserted by the Board of Selectmen) <br /> FUNDS REQUESTED: <br /> Program or Purpose Authorized Departmental Receipts FY2014 <br /> Representative or Authorization <br /> Board to Spend <br /> Building Rental Revolving Public Facilities Building Rental Fees $405,000 <br /> Fund Director <br /> DPW Burial Containers Public Works Sale of Grave Boxes and $40,000 <br /> Director Burial Vaults <br /> DPW Compost Operations Public Works Sale of Compost and Loam, $465,000 <br /> Director Yard Waste Permits <br /> PEG Access Board of Selectmen License Fees from Cable TV $450,000 <br /> and Town Manager Providers <br /> Trees Board of Selectmen Gifts and Fees $25,000 <br /> Minuteman Household Public Works Fees Paid by Consortium $175,000 <br /> Hazardous Waste Program Director Towns <br /> Health Programs Health Director Medicare Reimbursements $10,000 <br /> Council on Aging Human Services Program Fees and Gifts $100,000 <br /> Programs Director <br /> 10 <br />
