July 24, 2012 <br />Minutes <br />Town of Lexington Appropriation Committee <br />July 24, 2012 <br />Place and time: Selectmen's Meeting Room, 7:00 PM <br />Members present: Glenn Parker, Chair; Joe Pato, Vice Chair; John Bartenstein, Vice Chair and <br />Secretary; Robert Cohen; Mollie Garberg; Eric Michelson; Richard Neumeier; Jonina Schonfeld; <br />Rob Addelson, ex officio, non - voting <br />Members absent: Alan Levine <br />The Committee joined the Board of Selectmen, the Community Preservation Committee and the <br />Capital Expenditures Committee for an executive session to discuss the potential purchase of real <br />property. <br />The meeting commenced at 7:04 p.m. <br />A roll call vote of the Committee was taken on a motion by the Chair of the Board of Selectmen <br />to go into executive session, following a declaration that an open meeting may have a <br />detrimental effect on the negotiating position of the Town. <br />This motion was unanimously adopted, each member present having voted in the affirmative. <br />The Board of Selectmen assumed responsibility for recording and maintaining the minutes of the <br />executive session as well as any documents or exhibits used at the session. <br />The meeting returned to open session and was adjourned at 8:20 PM. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />John Bartenstein <br />Approved October 11, 2012 <br />
