Ms. Manz said mitigation monies were not to discourage development, but rather to <br />mitigate the difficulties arising from development. Mr. Galaitsis said that past promises were not <br />effective. He would prefer to see contemplated mitigation measures implemented and <br />demonstrated to be effective before the current conditions were worsened further. <br />****************************REGIONAL INTERTOWN ISSUES*************************** <br />Mr. Canale said that Thursday, December 18, 2008 there will be a HATS Meeting in the Lincoln Town <br />Office Building at 7:30 p.m., which focuses on parking and zoning. <br />*****************************APPROVAL NOT REQUIRED****************************** <br />150, 168 and 170 East Street: On a motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to endorse the plan <br />entitled “Plan of Land in Lexington, MA Middlesex County”, dated December 2, 2008, prepared and <br />certified by Kevin E. Danahy, Professional Land Surveyor, Meridian Associates Beverly, MA, with Form <br />A/2008-8, submitted by the Elaine and Guy Doran, applicants, as it does not require approval under the <br />Subdivision Control Law. <br />*******************************BOARD MEMBER REPORTS**************************** <br />Mr. Canale met with the TMMA executive committee and reported that the Communications Advisory <br />Committee had thought about coming in with by-law changes, but it was felt that what they wanted to <br />accomplish could be done within the Zoning Board of Appeals regulations. <br /> <br />Ms. Manz said there was a Community Preservation Committee hearing on all applications for CPA <br />funds tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Galaitsis said the Noise Advisory Committee was waiting for feed back from the TMMA regarding <br />the noise bylaw changes. <br /> <br />On a motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to adjourn the meeting at 9:25 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Wendy Manz, Clerk <br /> <br />
