Minutes for the Meeting of July 9, 2008 Page 7 <br /> <br />neighbors. <br /> <br />Mr. Nichols said they would be back when they have more in 3-4 weeks. <br /> <br /> <br />********************************* MINUTES****************************************** <br />Review of Minutes: The Board reviewed the minutes for May 27, 2008. On a motion duly made and <br />seconded, it was voted, 4-0, to approve the minutes. <br /> <br />The Board reviewed and corrected the minutes for June 4, 2008. On a motion duly made and seconded, it <br />was voted, 4-0, to approve the minutes as amended. <br /> <br />The Board reviewed and corrected the minutes for June 11, 2008. On a motion duly made and seconded, <br />it was voted, 4-0, to approve the minutes as amended. <br /> <br />The Board reviewed and corrected the minutes for the June 18, 2008. On a motion duly made and <br />seconded, it was voted, 4-0, to approve the minutes as amended. <br /> <br />The Board reviewed and corrected the minutes for the June 24, 2008. On a motion duly made and <br />seconded, it was voted, 3-0-1 (Mr. Galaitsis abstained), to approve the minutes as amended. <br /> <br />******************************* BOARD MEMBER REPORTS*************************** <br />Mr. Canale said Metrofuture is meeting next Monday in Framingham. The State budget does include <br />money for technical assistance from RPAs. The Board of Selectmen may want to ask for money for Route <br />128. Mr. Canale reported that there were cold cathode lights at the aloft hotel, which are five times <br />brighter then neon lights. <br /> <br />Ms. Manz said the Historical Society is suing the Historical Districts Commission for the following <br />reasons: <br />?? <br />Decision was delayed too long, resulting in constructive approval of the application; <br />?? <br />Disapproval on grounds that are outside HDC jurisdiction regarding mass and size; and <br />?? <br />One member participating in the HDC deliberations was an abutter and made a previous offer on <br />the property, suggesting a conflict of interest. <br /> <br /> <br />
